I'm Samantha, the owner of Forethought Weddings, seen here savoring a delightful Pinot Noir! A bit about me: I established Forethought Weddings in 2016. Prior to this, my professional background encompassed roles in local government focused on community development and engagement. I then transitioned to managing a winery in Rutherglen, as depicted above, followed by a position at a restaurant and wedding venue in Albury. These roles were heavily event-oriented and centred on customer satisfaction, which is where my expertise lies. The inception of this business stemmed from a conversation with one of my couples who encouraged me to embark on this path (I'm forever grateful to them). I discovered my passion and have since had the privilege of creating unforgettable memories for so many couples, most with whom I maintain close connections.
Our team is made up of exceptional individuals, including past brides and grooms who have become indispensable in assisting with setups, bar management, coordination, and more. Additionally, you'll often find my own family members working alongside me, dedicated to ensuring your day is nothing short of spectacular. Each member of our experienced team is deeply committed to your experience, and we take immense joy in what we do.
Let's talk about vendors! Over the course of eight years, I've cultivated a reliable network of vendors whom I consider my work family. This network continues to expand as I relish the opportunity to collaborate with new talents in diverse locations and private properties. I have the ability to assemble a team that will seamlessly execute every aspect of your special day, fostering a spirit of collaboration among all involved.
